The LeadCap dream was first born in our hearts and then in our small LSE dorm room; with a desire to make a difference, with a strong belief that inspired people can make an exceptional impact on themselves as well as on the society at large.
Founders:
Sangeeth Varghese is a globally recognized leadership expert, and the visionary behind LeadCap.
Varghese is a mentor for several CEOs and sits on the boards of several companies. He consults for some of the largest corporations as well as upstarts on how to develop and retain leadership talent. He is the author of the bestseller 'Decide to Lead' and is currently working on his next book "Open Source Leadership". Varghese writes a popular weekly column, "Pole Position" for The Economic Times, the world's second largest financial daily. Previously he wrote a fortnightly column, "Sangeeth Varghese on Leadership", for Businessworld, India's largest business magazine. His columns have also appeared in Forbes, Times of India and several other journals, newspapers and magazines. He has appeared in several television and print media including the BBC, CNBC, NDTV, and TimesNow as an expert on the topic. Varghese was chosen to guest edit the 2008 New Year edition of the Times of India as a "young star making a difference to India's future". In February 2008, Bombay Stock Exchange Journal rated Varghese as one of the most influential leadership thinkers alongside Ken Blanchard and Marshall Goldsmith.
Prior to this, Varghese worked in UNO based out of London as a Principal Consultant. He has done his research and masters at the London School of Economics with a scholarship. He has also done his MBA and Bachelor's in Economics with gold medals. Varghese is a regular speaker at the IIMs and IITs.
Ramesh Hariharan was earlier the head of analytics in Research International Japan and then in London. Hariharan conceptualized and spearheaded the transition of data processing of the WPP group in Japan and in the European markets. He recruited, trained, and led two analyses teams for their Indian outsourcing operations. Prior to this, he worked at the NFO and IMRB. He has extensive work experience in statistical analysis and model building.
He holds an MSc in Mathematics with specialization in Operations Research. His graduation is again in Mathematics with Statistics and Operations Research.
